Organise a ‘Mastermind’ for your company

Rob Cuijvers, managing director of Creatic Digital Agency and good friend of Dominic, has been a loyal customer of Corodo for quite some time now. He was initially coached exclusively as a leader, but gradually the time came for his team to participate in the process. A new coaching concept was sought and found: the Mastermind, which we introduce to you here.

As you read in this blog, the collaboration between Rob and Dominic began, after an introductory conversation on a completely different topic, with 10 exploratory one-to-one sessions. To fully develop as both an entrepreneur and a leader, Rob actively engaged in self-reflection alongside Dominic.

The process paid off, and with a close relationship of trust as a foundation, the pair dared to tackle new challenges. Because what would be possible if not only Rob, but also his team actively participated in a session? So that’s what happened: the whole party was soon welcomed to Antwerp for an inspiring workshop.

Dominic had worked intensively with Rob on his core values, and now did the same with the entire team. What did they think were the most important values of Creatic as a company? And how could they all respond to this as much as possible? They sought depth together, but also laughed a lot and enjoyed each other’s company.

In other words, the session went as planned, and afterwards, was christened the first ‘Mastermind’. The workshop owed its effectiveness to the customisation that had preceded it: Rob and Dominic had joined forces to design the day with great care and prepare the theme down to the smallest detail.

“The Masterminds are the product of mutual inspiration & co-creation. Think of it as cross-pollination: 1 + 1 = 3.”

A Mastermind, which can be intense at times, is all about the added value and flow you create together. Rob was also the ideal co-organiser. “Not only because it was about his company, but also because he always manages to strike the perfect balance between depth and light-heartedness, vulnerability and fun,” explains Dominic. “That makes all the difference.”

Today, Rob and Dominic still organise an extended Mastermind every few months in an appealing location for Creatic, Rob’s digital creative agency. The day acts as a powerful tool for them, creating awareness in each individual team member as well as reinforcing the unique team spirit that lives in the workplace.
