In a previous blog, you read how we always strive to make a lasting connection with entrepreneurs and athletes in our coaching sessions. Today we tell you more about one of our long-term collaborations, which will undoubtedly go down in Corodo’s history books: the coaching of Rob, managing director of Creatic Digital Agency.

The collaboration with Rob, (you can read how it came about here), was one of the first times Dominic worked with an entrepreneur on an intensive basis. He had previously focused on coaching elite athletes, striving to achieve their full potential as athletes.

While this new chapter was very welcome, it was no less of a challenge for Dominic. On the contrary: it was no longer enough for the entrepreneur to get the best out of himself and his performance; he now also had to transpose the insights he had acquired to a team he was responsible for, which could optimally grow alongside him as a result.

To ignite Rob’s enthusiasm from the start, Dominic decided to begin with the core values. After all, who was Rob really, outside his business? As an entrepreneur, but also as a human being? Rob, to his surprise, couldn’t give him an answer. It was his high performance mindset, which Dominic knew all too well from the sporting world, that eventually resulted in him making great strides.

“That’s the wonderful thing about working with entrepreneurs like Rob. They pick up new insights and put them into practice the same day.”

The results Rob achieved gave Dominic the confidence to continue to work with entrepreneurs. “As a business owner, it is crucial to connect with the people around you. Rob took this on board and never forgot it. I saw him change from an entrepreneur into a leader, a process we are still continuously honing today.”

Rob and Dominic still talk on a daily basis. To briefly go over the working day, but also to spar about major, long-term goals. They keep each other on their toes, and that works both ways. “I help Rob and his business grow, but he also encourages me to grow with him,” Dominic reveals. “That’s what it boils down to for us.”
